This talk will look at the crisis facing the Muslim family and the Ummah itself. Emphasis will be put on practical solutions to develop a flexible yet authentic way of approaching culture and the differences between Muslims. Examples will be made from the animal kingdom in light of the Qur’an and the Sunnah. The dillemma of the youth, the need for empowerment of women and danger of overemphasising culture above Islamic principles will be explored. The Qur’an and Sunnah will set the stage for these two talks and give the guiding principle. | ||
