We have the pleasure of inviting you to attend the ISTAC Friday Night Lecture No. 2/2011 by Emeritus Prof. Dato’ Dr. Osman Bakar, Deputy CEO of International Institute of Advanced Islamic Studies (IAIS). Prof. Dato' Dr. Osman is a well-known scholar and philosopher. He specializes in Islamic Philosophy, Islamic Philosophy of Science and Comparative Religion.

Tentatively, the debate will center on Malaysia’s economic reform programme, particularly the NEM and ETP, vis a vis the vision of Bapa Malaysia and the issues around how Malays and Bumiputeras will be affected by the changes. Almarhum Tunku’s family members will also grace the event with their attendance.
Light lunch will be served and the list of panels for the discussion will be confirmed shortly.
