Application for liason officer in conjunction with WIEF 2010
Salam to all,
We are pleased to inform you that the World Islamic Economic Forum (WIEF) Foundation will be organizing the 6th WIEF at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre, Malaysia on 18-20 May 2010.
The Forum will be opened by our Prime Minister, YAB Dato’ Sri Najib Tun Abdul Razak. Several Heads of State and Government have also been invited to address the Forum. In this regard, we are looking for young vibrant and engaging students to become Liaison Officers for the Heads of State and Government, Role-Players, including former Leaders, for the above mentioned Forum.
Our criteria are as follows:
1. PhD/Master/Degree/Diploma Students or holders
2. Between age 22-35 years old
3. Speak fluent English. Ability to converse in other languages such as Arabic, French is advantageous
4. Presentable, outgoing, good communication skills, well organized
5. Good knowledge in current issues (added advantage)
We are also delighted to inform you that the selected Liaison Officers (LO) would be given the following :
1. Per diem of RM120-150 per day for Junior LOs or RM 200 per day for Senior LOs. The expected number of working days would be subjected to their appointed speakers’ itineraries
2. Uniform – One black jacket
3. Meals – breakfast, lunch & dinner from 17-20 May 2010 at KL Convention Centre. Refreshments would be served throughout the day.
4. The value of top-up for mobile phone usage
5. Certificate
We hope your students will take advantage of this offer. Apart from interacting with leading personalities, they would also be given the opportunity to be part of a prestigious event to be held in Malaysia this year. We need to shortlist these candidates as soon as possible. If required, we can furnish you with a simple notice for display at your university notice boards.
