This is the first of the second series of the Perdana Discourse, following a successful debut in 2004 on "National Unity". Jointly organised by Perdana Leadership Foundation and Universiti Teknologi MARA and sponsored by Proton, the Perdana Discourse Series is a one-day event where a prominent presenter will speak on a pre-determined topic, addressing its definition and tracing issues like policies, strategies and challenges. Discussions and issues arising from the discourse will be documented and mapped. The Deputy Prime Minister of Malaysia and Education Minister, Yang Amat Berbahagia Tan Sri Dato' Muhyiddin Mohd Yassin will deliver a keynote speech at the Discourse, entitled, "The Role of Education in Leadership Development."
